Privacy notice

A plain-English draft describing what this site does and does not collect.

Draft — not legal advice, not yet reviewed.

This is a placeholder written by the site's authors, not by a lawyer. It must be reviewed and adapted by a qualified adviser before FutureReady is promoted publicly or processes anyone's data for real.

What we collect today

Nothing. There are no accounts, no logins and no analytics or advertising trackers on this site at present. We do not set marketing cookies.

Data stored in your browser

Some features — the newsletter form, the “score seem wrong?” form, the “we don't track this yet” request box, your compare selection and a local count of the pages you have opened — save data in your own browser's local storage. That data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and disappears if you clear your browser data.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by a third-party hosting provider which may keep standard technical request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability purposes. The hosting provider and its retention period must be named here before launch.

If a backend is added later

Should newsletter sign-ups, feedback or usage analytics ever be sent to a server, this notice must be rewritten first to name the processor, the lawful basis, the retention period and the process for access, correction and deletion requests.

Contact

A monitored contact address must be added here before launch. See also our terms of use and disclosure statement.
